Amanda Robertson, D.O., obstetrician and gynecologist, joined Women's Care of the Bluegrass of Frankfort in August 2010. Dr. Robertson received her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. She completed an internship at St. James Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Illinois and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Robertson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Robertson has special interests in minimally invasive surgery and multiple gestation pregnancies.
Timothy Bowling, M.D., general surgeon, joined Capital Surgical Clinic of Frankfort in July 2010. Dr. Bowling received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kentucky and completed a residency in general surgery from the University of Louisville. Dr. Bowling is board eligible in general surgery. He is an active member of the Kentucky Medical Association, Southeastern Surgical Society, American Surgical Association and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Bowling has special interests in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of reflux diseases, minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of colon cancer, breast surgery and thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Sean Owens, M.D., diagnostic radiologist, joined Radiology Associates of Frankfort in October 2009. Dr. Owens received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Tennessee and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a fellowship in angiography/interventional readiology from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Owens is board certified in radiology and vascular and interventional radiology. He is an active member of the Radiologic Society of North American, American College of Radiology and Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. Owens has special interests in body imaging, diagnostic radiology, uterine fibroid embolization, and other aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Chadwick Ahn, M.D., otolaryngologist, joined Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists and opened an office in Frankfort in late-August 2009. Dr. Ahn received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kentucky. He completed an internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology - head & neck surgery from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Ahn is board certified in otolaryngology and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Southern Medical Association and American Medical Association. Dr. Ahn has special interests in sinus disease, sinus surgery (including image-guided surgery), the diagnosis and treatment of allergy, general adult and pediatric otolaryngology, diseases and surgery of the salivary glands, larynx, thyroid and parathyroids, voice and airway disorders, swallowing disorders, ear surgery, balance disorders and hearing aids, and sleep apnea.
Gary Witucki, D.O., board certified family practitioner, opened his office, Commonwealth Specialists of Kentucky, in Lawrenceburg in November 2008. Dr. Witucki received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed an internship and residency in family medicine from Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Witucki most recently comes to Central Kentucky from Nashville, Tennessee where he spent time in private practice and serving at a wound and hyperbaric center. He has special interests in treating wounds, and will also see patients at the Wound Care Center in Frankfort.
Jennifer Spath, M.D., board certified pediatrician, joined Pediatric Associates of Frankfort in November 2008. Dr. Spath received her doctorate of medicine from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics from Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
M. Brennan Royalty, M.D., board certified family practitioner, joined Frankfort Family Medicine in August 2008. Dr. Royalty received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kentucky. He completed his residency in family medicine from St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Dr. Royalty completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine from the University of Kentucky. He is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Kentucky Medical Association and the American Academy for Family Physicians.
Irfan Ansari, M.D., board certified ophthalmologist, opened his office, Frankfort Eye Center, in Frankfort in August 2008. He received his doctorate of medicine from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Ansari completed an internship from St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts and a residency in ophthalmology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Ansari has been in private practice for the past seven years. His special interests include cataract surgery and glaucoma and diabetic retina care. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery.
Jaime Bailey, M.D., board certified family practitioner, came to Frankfort in July 2008. She has opened an office, Family Medicine Associates of Frankfort, on the west side of Frankfort. A native of Kentucky, Dr. Bailey received her undergraduate degree at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. She received her doctorate of medicine from the University of Louisville. Dr. Bailey completed an internship at the University of Kentucky and her residency in family and community medicine from the University of Kentucky. She is an active member of the American Academy for Family Physicians and American Medical Association.
Richard Lingreen, M.D., board certified pain management specialist, opened his office in the Frankfort Medical Pavilion next to the hospital in July 2008. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kansas in Kansas City. Dr. Lingreen completed an internship in general surgery from Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabaman, and a residency in anesthesiology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is board certified in pain management, anesthesiology, and addiction medicine. Dr. Lingreen is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Academy of Pain Management, American Society of Addiction Medicine, and American College of Surgeons.
Matthew Bucher, M.D., board certified family practitioner, joined Capital Family Physicians in their West office in Frankfort in July 2008. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Bucher completed his residency in family medicine from McLeod Family Medicine in Florence, South Carolina. He is an active member of the American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy, American Academy of Family Physicians, and American Medical Association.
Scott Monnin, M.D., board certified cardiologist, joined Bluegrass Cardiology in Frankfort in July 2008. He received his doctorate of medicine from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Monnin completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Monnin is also board certified in internal medicine. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.
